Increasing social cohesion

The group aims to increase social cohesion for people by building relationships and having understanding between different faiths and ethnic origins.
By doing activities together, we aim to break down stereotypes and mistrust to improve the quality of life. This benefits those who seek for opportunities to socialise with others and to build their confidence in a harmonious environment.

“I had the best day today only talking one to one with Nadia on a very hot day. When Nadia informed me that she’s coming I had all the energy and zeal to make a brownie cakes and had tea. Simple things, with lots of delight and pleasure in talking. It’s so much fun when someone comes to meet us, as it opens our spirits to share some happy moments. Surely we need friends as much as we want other comfort things.”
